Itsy Bitsy Spider

Itsy Bitsy Spider

mind is in detention
from supernatural
subliminal suspension
derivatives of tension
and coldness around me
abounding pursuits flee
from every angle
over and outward
inside yet tangled
belonging to none
stolen away into
a timelessness see through
black and white combine
and begin melting into
gray also cries
subside linger and
pry
backwards below beside
underneath aversions
pride betrays another
tried and true belief
conversions
its you, not I
for once in a while
I slide onto the
other side
enjoy the ride
remember She died

Sun is still dancing
Streaming in
Down on
Dampened wood
Piles stacked
Drying out for
Fires—later
And lovers make
music
With nothing
But their hands
And just enough
Light
To see sparks
FLY
Excuse me
How racy
My thoughts go
On and on and…

I love this line stolen away into a timelessness see through

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
