Poem Commentary

Jaime you are your Daddy's Girl!

Jaime

You, are Beauty in repose,
a well placed flower that someone chose.
Your life speaks joy, yet your heart is guarded...and that's not all bad.

You have mastered the art, it sets you apart;
your quick wit keeps others at bay,
oh, you don't push them far
but just enough to keep them, bout arms length away.

Thank you for all you have given,
still you push...you endure.
You've decided that Life is worth living,
even now reaching - and stretching for more.

You are going places, Places for sure.

Though some will call you Awesome
and your ways they will emulate.
AWARE, you'll not let them catch you,
till you have decided...I'll now close the gate.

Then you will enter a place of rest.
I think you will be a Happy Lady, in the sunset of your life.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
