jesus

hanging on the cross love forever in his heart
jesus took our sins in his hands and cried to the lord above
love, was his reason, his motive, the reason for his sacrifice
"never again " he says "will you be just a sinner"
he gave up his life and cried our tears. his father turned away
"it is finished " and he died three days and nights.
his dream a family, happiness, for the lord.
he came, he died, he lives again.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
