    Journey

My mind falling victim to this hate...
A spider web of dreams I can not see...
    Blind-sided by this destructive pain...
My heart aching to be forgotten...
    Sickness weakening my body...
    Emptiness trembling through my soul...
Tears shed from this unwanted pain...
    Numbness engulfing my heart...
    Knowing has become my destruction...
Letting go has become my weakness...
Desolate fears I have to hide...
Masquerading a life I do not know...
    Loneliness conquers my empty soul...
Time has become my illusion of fate...
Reality becomes my only dream to escape...
Uncertainty creates these notions of failure...
Broken promises fall into forgotten fantasies...
Life has created a taunting path...
And so my journey has just begun...

    I do like this poem, very good statement the masquerading's of life in general;

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
