Joyful

Joyful

Gratitude begins
                       like a drop of water
            voluptuous and plump
                 freewheeling gleefully to the ground.
When she soaks into the soil,
She feeds the earth with her joy.
And all at once --
                    the feeling of flight
Prompts the seed to grow.
