    I saw you there,
    I fell in love.
    I ran towards you,
    You ran from me.
    I backed off,
    And you grew closer.
    Never within reach,
    Yet never out of sight.
    I followed you to the end,
    Then you hid amongst the mist.
    I searched and wandered,
    You were never to be found.
    The mist cleared,
    And you were gone.
    I woke from my dream,
    With a sudden fall.
    Only to think,
    You were never really there.

    Let me live in the illusion if that is where I can be in your arms. Never let me awaken to a cruel reality where you are gone and my very life with you. Let me live in the illusion of you.......

    Excellent way of putting it, JT, and thank you for the read, and, what I take to be a compliment, ha ha
