  • ManOnTheMoon
  • Past the ocean, and into the clouds, we sail into the sun...

July 27, 2010, 2:38 AM

From the shadows you creep,
Black eyes focussed,
Red lipstick smile parting,
White fangs revealed in the pale moon light,
Now is your chance,
To end it all.
(Maybe this time you can go through with it.)
A storm rages on beyond the window,
And your silhouette is nearing.
Danger levels rising,
I am yours to end.
(Try to make it quick this time.)
Your hands tremble,
They always do,
With the cold steel in grip,
Its blade glistening in the dark.
This object holds no remorse,
No venture of right and wrong,
No hate,
Nor mercy.
This object is held,
By one that knows no bounds,
The same as the blade she carries.
(Yet you can never seem to stain your silver.)
Closer now than you have been before,
Take me to my End.
Lightning flashes,
And you disapear,
Scared of being seen again.
No trace left behind,
But I know you were there,
You are always there.
You will be back,
Again and again,
To finish this job,
You swore you would end.
(I wouldnt have it any other way.)

your words paint pictures in my mind. at the beginning it seems you are speaking about a vampire, but in the middle it sort of changes and describes what they are doing. and again at the end they disappear into thin air very vampire like. i loved the way you wrote it, constantly catching the readers attention. lightening flashes and gleaming daggers very visually dynamic.

This is very cool!! I like how visual this is. You create the scene very well, write on!!

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
