    Paint the world around you beautiful,
    So that you might hide the lies,
    Obscure the hate and pain it brings.
    Let the wind take all of it away,
    The bad that you can no longer take,
    And replace it with the music you love.
    Rest your head easy tonight,
    For your dreams will come soon,
    They will take you away from here.
    Imagination takes its toll,
    On the reality felt every day,
    It makes the hurt more tolerable.
    So paint this world around you beautiful,
    And get lost inside of your own fantasy,
    So that you might awake again tomorrow.

    I find this a very interesting poem. I especially like the final words: "So that you might awake again tomorrow.
