    Just A Point…

    Just A Point…

     Just a point , in a line,

just an instant, stuck in time,

    wandering, wondering evermore,

then washed upon some foreign shore.

Come to root, and grow to learn

    Discontent and disconcerne

      Time moves us.

Now we drift away from strife,,

    protein coated viral life.

    To find another willing cell,

to do the thing we do most well

    .

      Time moves us

What remnant strain takes hold this day?

What influence shall shape our way?

As in the past it comes again,

    although we can’t remember when..

       Time moves us.

    Ejected, blown, into space,

    solar wind and human race.

All time passed and none to tell,

    we land upon another cell.

        Time moves us.

From cell to cell we make our way,

    Infectious strands of DNA

Do we really have a choice?

    Listen to your inner voice.

        Time moves on..

    D,Scolnik.

I've been so pre-occupied. Thank You SavVySam for taking the time to read me.It's always so good to get your input. Did you read Parking Lot Kisses yet? A little romantic for me but I think it works. I must take time and read you back..

This was great. The rhyming and meter were excellent. the flow was smooth and the theme was consistent. A very nice read.

Ms Cmlsrade, How wonderful it is that Mother Nature is there for us to learn from. I'm so glad you enjoyed this. Thank You, as ever.

Thank you, It seems to me mankind imitates nature im all respects as a child immitates to learn.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
