    Just Listening In

    High on Mt. Dew.
    Anybody got paper and pen?
    Don't touch, don't even look.
    You are with her again?!

    I'm District six.
    Soccer's tonight half past eight.
A phone yells look at me!
    Sorry hun I'm running late

    Look at my Apple
New app give it a go,
    Captions for anything

    No me gusta.
    No hablo espanol.
    Oh, that's French
    Sorry didn't know.

Can I talk for a second
    No I'm on the run
    Please just a moment
    This conversation's done.

    Say cheeese
    Don't even boy
    I need the practice
    Make someone else your toy

    She's a bitch to him.
    Well he is dumb...
    They can't stand eachother.
    Then why'd he even come?

    One time at church,
    Bored out of my mind,
    Made a rubberband gun.
    Shot any target I find.

    She went to private school
    Kicked out last year
    I think it was Kappen?
    From Molly I hear.

    Ugh this stupid test
    Who was Robert Kennedy?
    Some dude from the sixties
    Defense secritary?

    Seeing Battleship Friday!
What in heck is it about?
    It's got Rhianna in it
I want to see her shout.

    Avengers, Lucky Ones
    I'm a movie buff.
    Only the good ones
    Can't handle the crappy stuff.

    Jonny Depp is so hot
    No in that outfit.
    Chick form Harry Potter
    She's also in it.

    Last Exorsism
    Waste of cash.
    In the Woods
    Great up intil the last.

    Mike music down!
Mmummm humm was that at me?
    I said turn it off.
    Workin' on it geez...

    Ding ding!
    All thought is lost.
    Stampeed the door.
    Out at all cost.

I really liked this piece. Very original, very relatable. This could go for another round of revisions, though, as I spotted a few grammatical errors and I believe that just a dash of punctuation (just a tiny bit; that could make it choppy) would really bring this poem to life.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
