    Poem Commentary

    Dealing with a very uncomfortable emotion, confronting some unruly anger...

    Ka-Pow!

    Explosive and Volatile
    Like a crumper on crack
    Shaken soda bottles
    Funky fizzy heart attack
    Popping and crackling
    Like plastic bubble wrap
    Busting and bursting
    Best watch your back, Jack

    Cuz this beast is off the leash
    Demolished the cage
    It's come out to feast
    Gorge and graze upon rage
    You best hope its not you
    When it fixes its gaze
    No escaping this truth
    Fall prey to its fangs

    The wretched red
    Of angry ire
    Snorting smoke
    And breathing fire
    Igniting anything
    It desires
    Gnashing teeth
    That chew through wire

    Simmer simmer simmer down....
    Let the boiling bubbles cool

    Take a breath and kick the ground


    I cannot let it rule
