    Huddled in a tiny church
    With folks I hardly know.
I would have chose a different place,
If I'd had a place to go.

The walls are shaking,The windows are breaking,
    The ceilings falling down!
The wind is howling, my stomache is growling,
I can't get out of town!

The way things are lookin, by hook or by crookin,
    I'm stuck in this arena.
But, I've made a decision, in fact, its a vision!
I'll never date a girl named Katrina!

It won't take no quessin cause man I ain't messin
With a woman that carries that name.
If she come's a flirtin, there's one thing for certain,
She'll have only herself to blame.

    Cause I'll take a Phyliss, a Sherry.
A Debra, a Mary, A Rebecca, Or Edwina!
But don't come near me. You've something to fear me,
If you've got the name Katrina!

or "Charley" for that matter! fun!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
