king and queens

king and queens

So you say you would be there for ever.
Like a queen standing tall beside her king
And you say you would always love me.
Forever this i would see.
And i love you like the stars in the night
and the moon shineing so bright.
I fell in love with you on.
On a star lit night
And like a king standing tall beside his queen.
I vowed to guard you for all eternity.
And i love you like the stars in the night .
And the moon shineing so bright .
We fell in love on that moon lit night
As I rode out through the gate .
I remember your face as the arrow across ,
the battle field sealed our fate.
A love so sure and pure.
As ten thousand soldiers die in place
A queen they vowed to loyalty and love
Ten thousand and one  watch from above
watching the ones we love
A battle not won and our lives given to one
we shall be there when you come through
guarding our vows so true

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
