Last words of a sane man,

Last words of a sane man,

Fare well at last to English sky
No more over my head to rise
...
no more to live in cold twilight
I shall instead embrace the night
No one to grieve, no one to care.
no one to know that I was there
no plaque, no stone, no plot of land
no-one in fact to give a damn
don't raise a glass and call me friend
you'll forget me ere my words end.
good luck, go forth with your belief's
and leave me here to find some peace
