    Leave Me Alone

    Im locked in my bedroom
    I just want to hide
    I'm not coming to dinner,
    I wont go outside

    Dont tempt me with presents
    Your food, it just smells
If you dont stop bothering me
    Ill damn you to hell.

    Im tired of your yapping
    Your voice it just grates
    If your thinking about leaving,
    Well, dont hesitate.

    You say that I'm mean
That I'm not "thinking of you"
Well its not like I'm happy
    So what should I do

Ive tried and you know it
    But I just cannot leave
    I step out this door
And I just start to heave

Theres a grip on my heart,
    And it just starts squeezing
    If I open that window
    I just begin wheezing.

    So back off dear friend
    And leave me alone,
    Sorry if "your" not happy
    Please just go home.

This sounds like my life, I liked the use of words and thought it flowed well. Sometimes I wish I could just lock the bedroom door and have people leave me alone. Great job

Thanks. I was in a grouchy mood the day I wrote this and I just vented on paper. I was going to toss it away but then I figured I wasnt the only person who has these days!

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
