I have been nothing but broken promises to you
Why do you hang on to something that isn’t true?
I will hate the pain I will feel for the rest of my life
I don’t even deserve to be put through all this strife
It hurts inside and I don’t know how to break free
Open up your eyes can’t you see
My love it is hard for me to let us go too
But understand that it was never you
