    Life Goes On

    Life Goes On

    The Earth moves below me
    My fragile legs break
    I feel the wind blowing
I can feel I'm about to break
    Life goes on

The leaves fall to the ground
    The snow blankets the trees
The flowers start to bloom around me
Summer comes and I feel the breeze
    Life goes on

    Money leaves my hand
    Giving it to the man
    Jobs become invisible
Amerca's new motto is "yes we can"
    Life goes on

    Standing by the river
    The flooded the green grass
    Sandbags become my wall
And now it's just the past
    Life goes on

    Thinking over lifes ways
    Passing memories in my mind
    Pondering my journey
But now I must leave it behind
    Life goes on

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
