Life is an Echo

Life is an Echo

Coyotes howl at the moon.
Elks bugle in the forest.
Dogs bark at strangers.
Snakes hiss when aroused.
Cats purr when happy
Humans cry and laugh
     and
Even Nature sings. . .
       however.,
Every diferent cry of Animals and Nature
Become Echoes in Life
So, enjoy their hidden Messages
          for
Every cry of pain or laughter
Speaks silently to Someone.
All we have to to is. . .
Listen and appreciate Life's Echoes.
                as
Each Echo of Life is a Lesson to be learned.

I enjoyed your poem, dragon heart. All it takes is the ability to listen to and hear what is going on around us. TS

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
