Poem Commentary

Ever felt that you had to make a decision but could find a good reason of why you felt you should?, Ever done that then found that the debatable subject was originally based on such a decision? Irony of life....

Life to the fullest

Irony is indeed by def,
Most life within itself.
The greatness of joy,
Brings pain and annoy.
One day can be great,
And the next be of late.
The ones of which you care for most,
Are scraped and thrown like a burnt piece of toast.
The care and the love have all slipped away,
After all of the words said day after day.
The sorrys you say, the lives you effect,
Can all backfire in horrible wreck.
Although above in the clouds of shiver,
You'll always find the lining of silver.
Its a cycle lived through and though.
The love, the pain, and then anew.
Reasons hide in all we do,
Sometimes just to show to you;
That what you felt is true and real,
But yet think before you feel.
Decisions made cant be undone,
Just live, enjoy, and have your fun.
If it is wrong then think it through,
You may try for something new.
No regrets should be held in life,
Try no grief, no pain, no strife.
Everything happens for a reason even if hidden to see,
Until the final epiphany.
Neither over nor under analyze any of life,
Tricksters play in dead of night.
But just keep fate out forth and see,
The following statement true to be.
ALL OF THINGS DESTINED TO BE,
SHALL COME TRUE EVENTUALLY.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
