    Like You

I saw a tear roll out of
    The corner of my eye
    I could have sworn it
    Held you inside of it
    Caressing you and torturing you
    All at once

    Your eyes followed suit
    Tear after tear
    Cross after cross I bear
    And Jesus Christ is heavy
    Not like you
    Not like you

    Until the early light
    Moving through
    Through you
    Alive
    Through me, a monster
    Underneath your bed
    Inverted

    My phone is out
Of time like you and I
    Falling through space
    And through time
    Trying to call
    Yet still trying to answer
    Not like you
    Not like you

"a monster under the bed inverted" very good. Good use of descriptive images. Good work! Thanks!
