    Little Girl Lost

Take a moment if you will
    to find the inspiration
    hiding deep inside
    The little girl lost

    Help her discover her independence
    and watch her take flight
    becoming lost like tears
    fallen in the summer rain

    Take time to hear
    the silent screams
    echoing throughout the darkness
    of that little girl lost

    Take a moment to notice
    that just behind her eyes
    that beautiful smile is fading
    and her heart is breaking

    Remember
How she wouldn't show her pain
and wouldn't let you see her cry

    Remember
    How you stole her innocence
    and destroyed her childhood

Realize that you can never dry
the tears you forced her to inwardly cry

Realize that all these things matter not
for all that she is, you have forgot

It has good cadence and the emoitonal content is solid.

This poem is like an anthem of the things I that I lost in my childhood. I aspire to release my pain like this. Thank you.

There is an inner feeling of suffering being described and released through this poem. It surly describes many situations experienced by children around the world. Great work, thanks for sharing.
