     LIVING WITH A GHOST

    HAVE YOU EVER LIVE WITH A GHOST
    SOMETHING YOU CAN'T EXPLAIN
    SOMEONE ARE PLAYING A HOAX
    OR ELSE I AM INSANE
    I WAKE UP AND LOOK IN A FACE
    I CRY OUT WHO'S THERE
    SOMEONE IS IN THIS PLACE
    NOW I'AM SHAKING WITH FEAR
    I AWAKE THE NEXT DAY
    MY GLASSES COULDN'T BE FOUND
    I BEGIN TO SAY
    SOMEONE ARE HANGING AROUND
    YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MAKE ME LEAVE
    THIS IS WHERE I LIVE
    WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO ACHEIVE
    SOMETHING GOT TO GIVE
    WE WILL SHARE THIS PLACE
    YOU MUST PLAY BY THE RULE
    WE HAVE ENOUGH SPACE
    I MUST BE A FOOL
    NOW WE HAVE A UNDERSTANDING
    DON'T MOVE ANY OF MY THINGS
    THE GHOST IS NOT THAT DEMANDING
    JUST  DON'T SCARE ME AGAIN

    Clifton, I love this poem. I see that you arrived at a compormise and understanding with :"The Ghost?".....................LOL Please do not allow anyone to induce you to edit this poem. Its novelity ,humour. pathos and rhythm lay in your unique writing skill. My rating is a full 8.

    Nice job Cliff! I've been there .... lol! I sometimes wonder if there's an entity in my house as well ... but, as long as it keeps it's distance .. I'm fine with it. lol! :)

    SOMEONE ARE PLAYING A HOAX;= SOMEONE ARE (IS) PLAYING A HOAX ---“SOMEONE ARE HANGING AROUND”= SOMEONE ( IS? ) HANGING AROUND. THE GHOST IS NOT THAT DEMANDING;= THE (A Typical ?) GHOST IS NOT THAT DEMANDING: I hope you don’t mind the correction.. I loved the poem and it is well written. I am dyslexic so who knows? Continue writing your poems... CatsMeow

    I really like this piece my grandpa passed away and we ended up with his dog smokey. My grandpa always used to open a bag of dog treats and leave it on the floor by his bed and let smokey eat ALL of the treats daily. My mom had to tell my grandpa how un healthly this was for smokey and my grandpa was upset with her for making him quit. He said smokey was old like him and deseved to just be fat and merry. after my grandpa died we started finding dog treats all over the house in places hard to reach as well.. closets and the couch bathroom tub sink unger everything and in our beds it was really weird and to this day my mom will not but a bag of dog treats bc everytime we do thats what happens. Loved the read =D
