    Lonely Little Angel

    I can't even show you
    what it means to me
    to watch heaven sprout its wings
    and fly away so beautifully
    this little angel beats its wings
    plays with fire and things
    in the end
    everything said and done
    this little angel doesn't want to sing.

    Lonely little angel
    speak your mind
    take a step
    what are you trying to find?

    This lonely little angel
    paints the sky
    it rains, it storms
    but day the colors try to form
    take flight
    just fly away
    little angel no more pretend
    no more play
    But broken wings
    and a broken heart
    keep this angel far apart.

    Lonely little angel
    please don't fright
    try to make it through the night.

    For one thing I love all things Angel. So I love this one, once upon a time I was that lonely little angel. Once upon a time I had broken wings too. But I made it through the night. This is beautifully touching.
