    Long Lonely Nights

     I've waited and waited for you to come along.
    Long lonely nights lost in romantic movies and songs.
    I sit on my sofa with bon bons and ice cream,
    Waiting paitently for you to step out of the movie screen.
    I'll run to the kitchen I simply won't care
    I'm the beautiful Ginger, you're the handsome Fred Astaire.
    We'll dance the night away all around the room,
    Me the silly girl and you the silly broom.
    You'll look at me with those dashing eyes
    My heart will melt and I'll be left with nothing but a sigh.
    The song will end and so will the show and just like that you''ll have to go.
    I'll wait and I'll wait for you to come along.
    Every lonely night lost in romantic movies and songs.

    Awwww!!!! This is so sweet and sad! I loved the fantasy and the contrasting sorrow. "We'll dance the night away all around the room, Me the silly girl and you the silly broom. " - This line is my favorite. I think the use of the word silly in this phrase is perfect and portray the whimsical side of your poem. Lovely lovely!
