Look What You Did Dad

I stare into the mirror applying my black eye liner. I feel like a ghost. I feel so stupid for calling you my father. I grab a picture of us in the old days. Where I was happy. You looked so young and so do i. I step in front of the mirror again. I look at you and then in the mirror again. I look like you. Same eyes ,sorta smile, same skin but I’m paler. I open my mirror pulling out a blade. I press it to my face. On the side of my cheek blood flows off my face to the sink. I do it again to the other side. Blood falls from the other cut. I push the blade into my face again. Letting the blood fall off my face. Yea dad what now. What you gonna do? Nothing cause you don’t care you never did. I don’t wanna look like you. I cut close to my eye..My whole face is bloody now. Look what you did dad . you turned me into a monster. Just like you. But unlike you I’m stronger. I didn’t turn to drugs. I turned to the blade. Unlike you I’m not abusing my lungs. I’m just causing myself physically harm. You don’t care do you. One day it will be too late and you’ll walk up to my coffin. Saying “I love you”. Everyone will know you didn’t. Cause On my arm will be scar forever. Look what you did dad.
