Look/See
There is a girl opposite the room I am in.
I LOOK at her and I SEE one girl,
and it isn't the girl I am LOOKing at.
She is the girl, the only girl I SEE,
for you SEE,
it is her that I truly SEE,
and it is I that she truly SEEs,
and to me everything else is just… LOOKs
and everything else certainly can't SEE me.
To LOOK is to notice
but to SEE
is to peer deep and to discover the real things that no outer shell can reveal
and sending signals delivering awareness to how we feel.
Almost like two hearts negotiating a deal
with a kiss as the stamp and seal.
With her I SEE the fine print,
No hidden fees that can be missed by a mere LOOK
additional charges that could have me took
or rules that can be bent
Her heart is open
Wide open as a book
that I clearly SEE
With me she wants to be
And with her I want to be
And deep within each other we will forever SEE,
While everyone else... LOOKS.
I LOOK at her and I SEE one girl,
and it isn't the girl I am LOOKing at.
She is the girl, the only girl I SEE,
for you SEE,
it is her that I truly SEE,
and it is I that she truly SEEs,
and to me everything else is just… LOOKs
and everything else certainly can't SEE me.
To LOOK is to notice
but to SEE
is to peer deep and to discover the real things that no outer shell can reveal
and sending signals delivering awareness to how we feel.
Almost like two hearts negotiating a deal
with a kiss as the stamp and seal.
With her I SEE the fine print,
No hidden fees that can be missed by a mere LOOK
additional charges that could have me took
or rules that can be bent
Her heart is open
Wide open as a book
that I clearly SEE
With me she wants to be
And with her I want to be
And deep within each other we will forever SEE,
While everyone else... LOOKS.
