*LOSING LOVE*

Here one day gone the next. Why did you have to go? Why did God choose you? Is it right to question the person responsible for giving us life? You still had so much more to learn, see, and experience, or did you fulfill your purpose in such a short time? Only God has the answer. Your smile so radiant yet heartfelt could light up an entire room, your intelligence and creativity made you stand out in a crowd and demand to be noticed, and your friendly outgoing personality made people want to be in your presence. One day we’re enjoying each other’s company, laughing and making plans for the future, and now all we can do is reminisce and keep asking why… When I have thoughts of you I smile as my eyes began to fill with tears because of the hurt and remorse I feel. Where was I? Why wasn’t I there? are two questions that plague my brain and makes me realize I should have spent more time with you and not taken you for granted thinking you would always be here, but I now see that time waits for no one and no one is promised tomorrow, So please take advantage of every opportunity to let your feelings be heard and your emotions felt otherwise all you’ll be left with are memories and regret.

I understood the feeling in it. Something so true and great. So many strong things going on straight through.

I love the emotion and feeling in this. You can tell the sense of loss is straight from the heart. It is also a great theme because it is one that is shared by many.

thank you so much for your comment.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
