Lost In A World Of Chaos
im walking through life wondering
what is my purpose, what is my reason
i know some, but not all
im wondering, who am i
i look around me
i see everyone, but no ones sees me
i scream, but am not heard
they look, but dont see
they touch, but dont feel
they walk, but go no where
and in this world of chaos i wonder
does no one live anymore, is no one alive
i take it not
to look in their eyes and see the emptyness like bodies without souls
may they still have a heart
does it beat within their chest
does it beat like mine
does it pump the blood through their veins as it does mine
i look, and see
i touch, and feel
i walk, not sure where i am going, but still i go
