    Lost in the Nothingness

    Lost in the nothingness

    Reaching for the light

    Desire and passion

    Are all she knows

    Darkness closes in

    Sucking the life

    From her marrow

    Seeking the source

    Of heat that

    Causes the beats

    Stroking her heart

    Pain and rage

    Are all that she feels

    The darkness soaks

    The light out of

     Her shadowed soul

    Pushing the glow

    Deeper and deeper

    Into her heart

    Lost in the nothingness

    That is called her heart

    Her soul is sinking

    Further from her grasp.
