    lost

    in my living room
    i was lost
    a bed,closet,dresses,antiques,clothes,shoes,
    pictures on the walls
in my room i was not by myself
    just me and my odds
i have seen it all in life
    the bad times
i was blown by the wind of life
drown was i by the mighty ocean of life
trapped was i by the great hunter
yet i never did get lost
    but in my small room
    i was lost
for where i wanted to reach in life
and what i wanted to have in life
    i never have
again and again i am lost
    in my room

It is sometimes very hard, always difficult, and often impossible to step outside the solitude which protects us... out into the places we feel dirty and vulnerable in... A very good write...

very deep n very true, touched my spirit, i really do understand..

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
