Love Dies

Love dies
Dreams fades
As does warm summer days
Promises wane
Heartache strikes
Leaving you alone and shivering in the night
A thousand lives you could leave
Inevitably ending in one result
The death of love

Love can be so elusive...one has to be a patient pursuer to find it. Such a lovely poem........................................gogant

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
