Love Eternal
I know you feel me.
I am mercury in your veins
a whisper in your ear
a breath on your lips.
I know you know me.
We met in past lives
loved in centuries buried
our souls twined eternal.
I know you see me.
around every corner
in fog and mist, in shadows and clouds
lingering in undying places.
I know as surely as the sun does rise
and the moon does set
as your heart beats and mine does ache
so too shall we be one again.
