Love May Travel

Love May Travel

A vast wasteland

separates you and I.

So I built a road

for you to travel by.

Yet no visit occurs

and I am left high and dry.

There is a river

in our path.

So I built a bridge

I hope it lasts.

Still I do not see

the one that matters most to me.

An ocean of depths

blocks my love and I.

So I built an ark

to cure my cries.

Even he does not see

the effort that I try.

The evening sky; I now see,

is one completely tame.

A segway to my heart

doth mame.

So I built and airplane.

Thanks!

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
