    Love Your Children...

     Love Your Children...

    Please love your children, each and every day,
    show them just how special they are, in many different ways.
    Don't put them to bed with anger, nor with a heavy heart,
    sit on the bed beside them, assure them they're in your thoughts.

    Laugh and play, sing and pray, give them praise each day,
    share your thoughts, it means a lot and guides them along life's way.
    Teach them to be truthful today, and all their tomorrows will shine,
    as they learn love, kindness and generosity their lives become more divine.

    Be honest with your children, in return they'll be honest with you,
    try to set good examples in everything you do.
    Your rewards won't go unnoticed, your children will see to that,
    they will do their very best, to earn your love and respect.

    Put your arms around them, hold them extra tight,
    don't forget to kiss them, each and every night.
    Tell them that you love them, more than they know,
    the sparkle you'll see upon their faces, will surely make you glow.

    Lady Mary, this is an incredibly gentle write...our children are the foundation of tomorrow, if we give 'em positive structures roots and wings they will be alright...but if we give 'em grief....they will live vey sadly in heart...and i agree 'bout bein' honest at all times w/our children...one time i faltered ....i wrote a poem concernin' my choosin' a mountain to climb or a rock to hide under...it is titled.. "Let me explain" please take a peek at it..Namaste..Terra @}-'-,- (10+ )
