    LOVE

Love is a melody without chains
    A rapture of emotions
A sweet sigh in denial of rejection
A long lazy river with no end, with infinite depth
A complete whole and a hole full of hearts
A creator of life, giver of giving
A crying dove without wings, though with a siren call
A swaying tree in sunlight, shyly peeking through its leaves
A breeze in the earliest hour of evening between two lovers
A sunset, inflamed with oranges and reds, flirting with the descending ball of fire
A sea of miseries washed away with the salt of time
A wordless word, though words are all words without saying so
A bewitching spell on the soul, and the soul thirsts for more
A stolen kiss from a cloud, feathered and ghostly, it cannot be touched
Though it can, a love is an orbit around the earth and back, it never tells us how it began
Love is the moon, pure and white, in sensual delight
Love is a tsunami of passion, crushing the stony pillars of hatred with effortless fashion
Love is an ephemeral scent, a windswept mystery which beckons us to take part
Love is an answer to a question with no question mark
Love is a rose of many colors; the reds speak the loudest for they have indulged the most
Love is divine, the story about life in a nutshell of peace
Love is an hour of shame turned inside out
A cry of agony gouged from the eye of the ignorant
The solace within the eye of an infuriated storm
The warm milk at night, the wet kiss of goodbye
Love is dignified, and patient, like a stone it waits
Love can seethe, burn a wound on a heart and leave it out in the cold
Though it will knock on your door later with a blanket and salve
Love is a secret one may dig for but must un-dig oneself first to find
Love is a metamorphosis of all forgotten hopes turned sour and despairing
    Love is hatred’s best friend
Love surpasses death; it grinds its axe into the coffins of the damned
Love is unconditional, as the rain falls on thirsty plants
Love is a dance of the spirit
Love is a crucifix, a stigma in all of us
Love is ecstasy born from anxious animosity, breaking the egg of lie, out chirps the truth
A fruit, Love may be either forbidden or forgiving
Love is a rainbow, sending an arc of enlightenment across an angry sky
Love must be the beginning; it has a right to say so
Love is justice, freeing the prisoners and the slaves of angst
Love is unity, the mold which binds all humankind
Love is an existential flight, a flee from the ordinary into the extraordinary path of growth
Love is a blossom ready to bud
Love is the key to all that is dead and all that is alive
Pandora’s Box which opens all the presents of the present, the long fermented future, the stale past
Love is evolution, the building of mankind from the dust
Love is open, an ocean with no shore
Love is a poet’s pen, a creating creation
Love is wise in its foolishness
Love is trapped in the cage of the hearts of all who take delight in these words
Love is pain, the paper cut that reminds one of living
Love is sadness, the tears sparkle as diamonds, reflecting the beauty of the soul within
Love is more than mere lust for flesh, it is lust for understanding
Love is unwavering, persistent as a child
Love is reborn into animals every second a fly has stopped buzzing
Love is cruel in its kindness
Love slides its sword into the sheath of the mind
Love is the night’s blueberry void, a fruitful desert the earth covets
Love is pairs of bright eyes on the freshly deceased
Love is a bouquet of embraces to the sick and the hopeful
Love is a pair of glasses through which you see the world’s colors as you choose
Love is the invisible blood that courses through each vein, animal and human alike
Love is indivisible, the hardest element
Love is the sage’s potion, extracted from the busy legs of romantic crickets
Love is merciful, the god in every apology
Love transcends beyond impossible, brings us possibility
Love is loyal, the friend we call on when we are alone with the devil on our left shoulder
Love is a leaf dotted with dew
Love is oxygen in our excited cells
Love is eroticism in the wrinkled lobes of the brain
Love is quixotic, dreaming our dreams
Love is a dream when you want it to last
Love is a soft creak in the doorway when you think you are unimportant
Love is an ant, scurrying with its rations, unconscious yet enthralled with the motions of being
Love is an epiphany, a string of endless laughter
Love is a harp playing the harmonies never harmonized
Love is a gold mine, for both the fools and the wise men
Love is a blank space waiting to be filled

Love is a winding staircase hoping you will fall from it
Love is the iris of an eye that hatred bled color from
Love is a steep incline, a fall from sleep into a warm bed of breath
Love is honest, it writes on the walls of minds who doubt it
Love is a bit lip, a drooping petal, a contagion, a sedative
Love is a free verse, a whine at midnight, a caw crowing, a chuckle unbuckled
Love is steam rolling off lover’s backs, a broken heart with stitches
Love is a band that uses frowns, smiles and tears as instruments
Love is a snowflake, cooling the oppressed with its melting edge
Love is a deserted home, empty yet full in its silence
Love is a jewel, a seashell on a black sand beach
Love is in our skin, it sweats our souls forth from our cores
Love is lucid dreaming, with our eyes wide open
Love is splendor in the unknown, the dark corridor which goads us with a fairy light at the end
Love is priceless, though everyone has a coin of Love in their pocket

Love is love, it reflects on itself off the mirror in our eyes
Love is a bubbling brook, playful in its gaiety
    Love is a supernatural normalcy
Love is an ember, a passageway towards salvation, a drink to a parched mouth, a breath of clean air
Love is a delicate thread enameled with sequins that are our faces
Love is a retreat, a sanctuary, a Garden of Eden where the forbidden fruit never tempts
Love is silence, the gooey center of satisfaction
Love is a firefly flitting around the light which it consumed
Love brings the shadows out of their hiding place, dresses them with light
Love removes the mask of unreality, gives reality a facial
Love is confusion dancing with understanding
Love is a familiar enigma, doesn’t need a name, for it names us all
Love is desperation, salmon swimming frantically to give birth
Love is in all of us, love is what we all are
Love is the ghost of every loss
Love is the picture of every race, reflecting culture on culture for passion’s sake
    Love reigns
Love is the revolution of everything that is breathing at this moment
A reverberation, an endless sea of faith, a gem that never needs a varnish
    It never finishes
    It never wants to
    And neither do I

Yeeaah...!!...you are in touch....with that which is reserved for the few.... whose hearts still see....whose minds still hear... whose ears are still in longing.... and whose eyes refuse to dance in blind confusion........ ThanX.....!

An interesting definition of LOVE, something we search for, but we rarely find. Well done.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
