Love's Regret
You lied to me and stole my heart,
how I wish that I had known that you didn't love me from the start,
that way I could have avoided this broken heart. But now after these few months that have passed,
I remember the times that your love seemed genuine,
Even though it wasn't real,
the love you said you felt.
Now all I am left is a broken heart and these painful memories.
