    Lucky One He

    were that I were,

    that lucky one he,

    meant for a lifetime,

    with this wondrous she,

    to travel the world,

    travel the stars,

    sweet talk the moon,

    capture ol' Mars,

    wrap it all up,

    as a present for she,

    a simple love token,

    from this besotted he,

    for wondrous would

    this life of mine be,

    were that I were,

    that lucky one he!

Thank you for the kind words. I am glad that you enjoyed it. I still can't get to your profile. Able to get to others, just not you. :-(

Kristy, I have tried and tried to get to your profile. I have been able to get to tohers,, but not yours. I wish to return the favor, but am still unable. I'll keep trying.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
