    Lumin

It peaks up over the mountain,
Like a child waiting to be discovered.
It taps on the glass of my lonesome room,
So thick I feel its presence to awaken.
It follows me, beckons me to grasp its assumed emptiness,
Telling me to swallow, and I will be full.
My warm navigator, willing to saturate my every bareness.
    Showing itself with darkened skin.
    It whispers...
Follow me and I will follow you.
I cannot leave you for I am the Light.
To warm you and guide you.
    I will brighten your path,
Yet you resist me, and disregard.
    Breathe me in. Pursue me.
    Know I am there.
    The Light of the World.
May you never sit in darkness.
    I am yours.

    nice Psalms 19

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
