Lying Eyes
I want to believe you;
but all you tell are lies,
And even though you may love me;
the real truth is hidden in your eyes.
She sees the truth but tries to pretend;
that what she sees isn't really there,
And though she listens to what her heart says;
she knows the truth will come out in the end.
Even though you may tell her what her heart wants to hear;
But what your sweep lips won't tell her, you're lying eyes will reveal.
