    Madness

I hold off the tears of sadness for

    the fear of madness.

I feel it pulling with all of the knowing.

I want to quit, but all I can do is spit.

    I’m mad, I’m sad,

I feel that I’ve been had.

What do I do, what do I say?

While I hold my tears at bay.

Short but Strong! I get more confusion outta it than sadness or even madness but the madness was there a sort of rage at not knowing. Very well done

Short but substantive. I like the fact that it says a lot with a little. It reminded me of feelings I, too, have had. Holding back while one tries to regrip their sanity. Enjoyed reading it. Thank you. Cammy
