    Malory

I whispered in a birdies ear
and told her how much I miss you
    She said goodness gracious
let me see what I can do
    She nodded her little head
    and flew very far away
    I sat and waited
I watched for her all day
Then the day turned into night
    Looking at the stars
    She's nowhere in site
The next day I sat down and began to cry
The birdie finally made it back
    She said don't worry
I checked on her and she's fine

Very meaningful sentiment. Consoling for who it's meant for. Good poem.

Poetry is what is lost in translation.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
