    Mari's Gift

    Open up the gift of her eyes
    Receive that sparkle meant for you
    Open up her hands
    And receive a huge hug, too
    Open up her mind
    Her thoughts are good and true.
    Open up her heart
    And her soul comes shining through.

    Touch your hand to her cheek
    That will always love a kiss
    Touch her eyes to wipe away
    Any tear that you might miss
    Touch her heart with your words
    And know your love you express
    Touch her hand with your own
    And you can pass any test

    She touches you, her smile - your light
    No spoken words are needed,
    You've opened that most precious of gifts
    Given every day of the year
    With her smile, your spirits she always lifts
    Her lion's heart overcomes any fear.
    She loves more than she could ever say.
    Her Love given, a gift, of forever and a day
