    ~Mark My Words~

I remember when I'd party n have all that fun,
But now,all my dumb moments are done.
No more drinkin, smokin, no more illegal shit.
I got this pain and love inside of me that I got to keep legit.
Don't be so quick to judge me by my past,
Look around and see who's still standin, and listen to this,I'll be the last
My future now revolves around something else,
It's never gonna be just me, never just myself.
A miracle that's going to cause an earthquake throughout my whole life,
A mommy and a baby, but not once a wife.
We're going to look for a daddy and a man that wont be there.
I'll feel bad for the child, that's pain I can't bare.
So very young in life, so confused on all my thoughts n troubles,
And evertime I think of the oncoming struggles,
I drop down to my knees and pray,
I scream n beg to the lord to take all my sin away.
I stil thank my friends and family for the help,
And I even thank the lord for the hand I was dealt.
I kno soon my special day will come,
But until then, I wish I could give up and be done.
It'll be alright when I finaly get to look in my love,my future,my childs eyes.
With our loving bond and endless strength all we'll be able to do is rise.
And only for my child, I'll be there and willing, until the day I die,
Mark my words, because everything I have said are facts, not one lie.

I like the strength you show here. It's not an easy thing to change so quickly, but it is worthwhile. Good for you. 10 from me.

loved reading every one of your poems!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
