    // Mask-3//

    I am sure

    I wont be recognized

    by any one

    because

    my face smiles an age.

    That one mother

    gave me once with a

    child's mask

    keep changing

    day after day

    moth after month

    year after year.

    And

    turning gradually

    smudging like the mask

    at my drawing room wall

once father bought from a fare

    to teach me fear

    then I was a child.

    He wore that mask

    and roared like a tiger

    and inserted

    courage against fright

in to a quick breathing heart,

    declaring a complete man,

    of his another mask

    I pirated him,

    to wear his mask

    to walk like him.

    I m sure

    people don't recognize me

    only, with a face

    nor do I recognize them

masked on or off their faces

    of time and task

    betwixt knowing and unknown,

    until,

    faces are classified

    masks at different walls.

    (A gift to Mitu)
