Master Yourself

And the hope,
That a great deal more will unfold
That I reach into this dawn
And place the light upon;
The Earth;
For all to behold
Wondrous riches will be found
Questions shall be answered
And advice will be sound.
You will have a much honored place
In your coming future.
If you wish it
For there is only one;
Who stands firmly in your path
He is a cunning opponent
He knows how to race.
He thinks as you do
And this is how you win
Play him as a fool
He’s your identical twin
You go left
He goes right
Psyche him out
Shake him silly
Let him fall and break
For when you master yourself
That’s when you truly wake.
