Me, Me, Me

Me, Me, Me

Its not about you, its all about me, I told you before it's me, me,me!

You talk all your talk,

You think you're all that.

Its all that I hear I'm this and I'm that.

I've been here and I've done that.

I know this and I know that.

Well, what about me don't you care who I am?

If you would only listen you'd know where I've been.

You'd know all about me and all I can do.

But all that you care about is YOU, YOU, YOU!

Well, if you'll be quiet and listen real well,

You'll hear the slam of the door as I bid you farewell.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
