Metamorphasis

Metamorphasis

My tears run in streams made of blood
My heart no longer beats for you
My lips have become dark purple with poison
My skin has turned pale from the cold condition you left my soul
The dark around my eyes are not from lack of sleep
My eyes are a black void of emptiness

If you saw me now, you wouldn't know me
I have fallen
I have changed
I have gone through metamorphasis
From a Princess of Light, to a Dark Fallen Angel
My wings were ripped by your lies
The pain will never fade
It will never get better, only worse.

Out of my mouth flicks a serpent's tongue
Look at what you've done
I cannot survive this fall
I cannot swim to the surface for another breath
You cannot save me
I am too far gone
I now prowl in the shadows, haunting you

I have changed
I have gone through metamorphasis
You do not know me anymore
Nor do I
