Just remember the two of us
as we strolled through the park.
just remember the two of us as
we walked long after dark,
just remember the good old day's
that we used to share,
as I can still remember when
the wind blow though your hair.
that was the only time I had
to say good by
oh how much I hated to see you
start to cry.
But only for a while must my
time drift slow,
to come back, to your arm's
only God will know
and if time permits it I'll be
back someday, to return to that
happy Angel I left that way.
For I seen you cry a sad tear
that unpleasant day but I know in my heart I didn't leave you that way
It was just a good by tear
knowing someday I'll be released from here
So in these time's of loneliness I'll look
up to the star's above
and I'll ask God to shine his light on you
my only love..
