    Mikes Final Goodbye

    It was a beautiful day
but my family called to say
    that you were not well
all I could think was this
    illness has been hell.

I was silent struggling for comments,
All I could say was may we have you
for a life time of moments.

my heart felt lonely and sad
    I was more mad
He is to young to die
    This is all a lie.

Then my mom spoke and her words were like nails
Every word was making me feel like life fails.
Lord take him if you must
But this feels like a game and i just went bust.

While on the phone that day
    My aunt called to say
    That my cousin had died
    and I just cried.

This to you my cousin I write my final Goodbye
Although I want this to all be a lie.
So Mike I Love you and will never forget
Or will I ever let your children Forget

    Love Shari
