    Missiion Briefing/Stall Out

Days are long and everyone holds out . . .
    It's a matter of trust.
Arms spread and creaking because there's no introduction,
    No party to validate.

No one to witness intimidation turning shades of grey to green.
There are rules on the streets,
    That's why I don't play that game.

    Voices unfamiliar call my name,
"Find someone to hold", they say.
    Reply not likely . . . the way I look I feel.

    These nights are forever . . . to abandoned to sleep . . .
Bootstraps not long enough to pull.
All or nothing got me less than a penny to live . . .

Replay your interrogations with a smile at your eye contact
    Remember,
We did away with coincidence . . .

Replay your intergoations with a smile at your eye contact
    Remember,
We did away with coincidence . . .

    The mission must move,
Never tried to win a heart so let's see if my sense of adventure hold true.
    A critical juncture unfolding . . .

Days are long and everyone holds out . . . it's a matter of trust.
Arms spread and creaking because there's no introduction,
    No party to validate.

No one to witness intimidation turning shades of grey to green.
There are rules on the streets,
    That's why I don't play their games.

Pretty good. The flow of the poem could use a little work, and all of the ellipses are a little annoying, but I like the repetition and some of the images. ^_^

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
